Overview

The Oversight Board to the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Rohnert Park was transitioned to the Sonoma County Consolidated Oversight Board beginning July 1, 2018. For more information, please visit the County's website.

Dissolution of Community Development Commission

The City Council of the City of Rohnert Park elected to serve as successor agency to the former Community Development Commission on January 10, 2012.

Each successor agency had an oversight board that supervised it. The oversight board was comprised of representatives of the local agencies that served the redevelopment project area: the city, the county, special districts, and K-through-14 educational agencies. Oversight board members had a fiduciary responsibility to holders of enforceable obligations, as well as to the local agencies that would benefit from property tax distributions from the former redevelopment project area.

The City of Rohnert Park Oversight Board was dissolved on June 30, 2018.
