The City of Rohnert Park Council is accepting applications from local residents to fill two special vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Commission. One vacancy, appointed by Vice Mayor Emily Sanborn, will complete a four-year term ending on December 31, 2026. The other vacancy, appointed by Mayor Gerard Giudice, will complete a four-year term ending on December 31, 2028.
The Parks and Recreation Commission meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA.
Preference is given to Rohnert Park residents indicating an interest in parks and recreation programs for the community.
Rohnert Park residents interested in volunteering must submit an application form.
