The sun’s out now… but don’t get too comfortable—rain will be back!

With Roberts Lake, our beautiful creeks, and the Laguna de Santa Rosa, it doesn’t take much water to create big problems.
Thanks to your support of Measure H, our first team of Public Safety Officers completed Water Rescue Technician training in the Sierra foothills. Think freezing snow runoff, fast-moving currents, and long days in icy water learning ropes, boats, and lifesaving rescue techniques.

It’s challenging, it’s cold, and it’s exactly the kind of training that keeps our community safe when water rises.
Huge thanks to Sergeant Kieran Keaney and Public Safety Officers Matthew Marty and Eric Radcliffe for braving the cold and bringing these critical skills back to Rohnert Park. When the water rises, they’re ready—and we want you to be ready, too!
