Rohnert Park, CA— At its June 10 meeting, the Rohnert Park City Council adopted a balanced $175.7 million budget for the 2025–26 fiscal year, reinforcing the City’s commitment to responsible stewardship, strong community services, and long-term resilience.
This year’s budget sustains essential services—public safety, clean water, parks, and road maintenance—while funding major projects that enhance daily life. The General Fund, balanced at $57.6 million, covers core operations including police, fire, and recreation. The City is also allocating $1.5 million specifically for street repair and maintenance.
Key investments include upgrades to parks and trails, fire and emergency response improvements, and continued support for the SAFE Team and Labath Landing, a 60-unit interim housing program. Infrastructure enhancements to water, sewer, and public facilities are also underway.
Strategic priorities for the year ahead include developing a downtown, upgrading infrastructure, and strengthening emergency preparedness.
The City thanks the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria for their estimated $13 million in ongoing financial support, which helps sustain vital programs for residents.
