CHANGES COMING TO eTRAKiT PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS:

On Friday 12/19/25 the City is set to upgrade their TRAKiT release. This upgrade will result in changes to password requirements in eTRAKiT to accounts for both public registered users and registered contractors. Registered eTRAKiT users whose passwords do not meet minimum security requirements will be prompted to reset their password. The prompt will appear on the user’s first login after the upgrade occurs. A message will appear showing password requirements. If you have any issues logging in to eTRAKiT or updating your password with the new requirements, please email us at building@rpcity.org or call us at 707-588-2240 and someone will assist you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding as we upgrade our system to serve you better.

The Development Services Department includes the Planning, Engineering, Building, Code Compliance and Housing divisions. The Department reviews all development applications to ensure consistency with the City's Municipal Code and adopted standards, administers the City's Capital Improvement Program and administers the City's Code Compliance Program.

The Department is emphasizing electronic permitting and telecommunication technology.
